belated discovery: marques toliver. saw him perform on jools holland over the weekend and was blown away by the performance.
he has played with tv on the radio and bat for lashes. he has even gotten thumbs up from adele. why shar has snoozed on him is shameful. don't miss out on a truly unique talent against a platter of cookie cutter acts. some might compare him to andrew bird because they both are in the wacky violin arena, but his style almost is a post-modern baroque. london folk he is playing the lexington on 11 november.
