it seems like everyone loves this book and it has been spoken of aside my fav young adult book of last year "eleanor and park," so i had to read it. i have to say it's not your typical kid with cancer book and i should know. i used to read quite a few of them as a child. what can i say? i had a weird thing about books about terminal illness. anyhow, it was enjoyable and a fast read. a bit predictable but not your nicholas sparks kinda predictable. it seems as though the big c has enter quite a few of friends lives and this little story was a very small window into what they might be dealing with.
