to say my cousin and his family were the most awesome hosts is an understatement and then they took me to the izakaya/seafood joint ronin for my final meal. so thankful!

they offered me this bottle to go,
but couldn't fit in hand luggage

kongers: first 24 hours

landed and headed straight to a music festival. sound about right? my sweet cousin and his wife really know how to show a gal around. i hadn't been back to hong kong in over a decade and rarely ventured to the hong kong island side so needless to say a whole new hk for me. my first day was a food and art tour with my cousin lance, followed by an early thanksgiving dinner with family.  that hasn't happened in over a decade too.
