"listen to your life. see it for the fathomless mystery that it is. in the boredom and pain of it no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it because in the last analysis all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace."
- fred buechner
this little note was placed in my right hand 30 sun salutations later. at kula, we complete x number of sun salutations for a given birthday girl or boy. today was jen g.'s bday, so despite the struggle all the sweat and focus go to her. happy birthday jen!

wish i was there
reason to be green with envy: kulis returning from wunderlust. shar didn't have the bank to fund the dream excursion to tahoe for the two most favorite things in her life - indie rock and yoga. instead i will have to hear about it from all those privileged enough to attend and read about it in the times. yay me!

kudos for kula
most worthy of kudos: kula yoga project. major props to my yoga studio getting singled out as one of the hot spots to take advanced yoga classes in the new york times today. there is a longer article about what classifies an advance yoga class. here's an awesome pic of aarona. i take her honey flow class almost every sunday and if you come i'll sign you in.
