much much belated fltgc: aurel schmidt's maneater @ deitch. CHOMP! aurel's work is subtly in your face. we haven't had a fltgc in a very long time. i'm hoping to bring this back. jac your turn to pick next for october 24. anyhoot, aurel's delicate and colorful drawings are filled with crazy stuff like profalatics, beetles, birdies and designer duds (LV or chanel earrings). her stuff is influenced by de kooning, picasso and pollack. it's fun! check it out. closes november 1, so get there soon than later.
